The job is done. The office work should be, too.

We build office systems for contractors and small project businesses, and install them in the tools you already pay for.

You'll talk to a veteran mechanical engineer with more than twenty years in project management, construction and improvement projects, multi-site operations and manufacturing. Not a salesperson.

Start with the problem, not the software.

Most weeks get lost in one of four places. Pick the one that costs you the most and try the sample built for it. If your problem is not here, book a call and we will tell you whether we can build something for it.

Get paid sooner

Who owes me money, and who has not opened the quote?

What it does
You see
Every open invoice aged into buckets with the reminder already drafted, and every pay app packet checked for what is missing.
Try
On a pay app packet, mark the missing lien waiver as attached.
What changes
The packet is checked before it goes to the GC, so nothing gets kicked back for a missing lien waiver. Retainage and the lien deadline stay in view.

Price the next job

By the time the estimate is built, somebody quicker has the job.

What it does
You see
An estimate that fills itself in from your last three similar jobs, and a proposal built from it.
Try
Change one quantity, then turn it into a proposal.
What changes
The total, the breakdown, and the proposal all update. Every proposal comes out in the same format, so clients get the same quality every time.

Also try: the bid requirements checker

Keep work moving

The schedule you built Monday is wrong by Tuesday.

What it does
You see
A job schedule that keeps the original plan for comparison and checks which tasks depend on which every time you change it.
Try
Push a task later than the one that depends on it.
What changes
The schedule flags the conflict by name instead of quietly looking fine. You can also see how far the job has slipped from the original plan.

Also try: contract to to-do

Open the job schedule
Answer every request

The phone rings while you are on a roof, and the job goes to whoever answers.

What it does
You see
Missed calls, voicemails, texts, emails and web requests on one board, sorted by how urgent they are.
Try
Have a call come in after hours, with nobody there to pick up.
What changes
The call lands on the board as a request, and the caller gets a text saying you have it. It runs on a phone service you already pay for, or a low-cost one.

Open service requests

All four come down to the same thing. No system is doing the work, so it lands on you at night.

Four ways to work together.

Each one leaves you with something you can use. What we build runs in your accounts, inside the tools you already pay for, like Jobber, ServiceTitan, Buildertrend, JobTread, QuickBooks, Google, or Outlook. Stop paying us and it keeps running. Before any work starts, we put the scope, timing, outside costs, and support in writing.

Free

20-minute call

Twenty minutes to find out whether this is worth your money.

What is included
  • You describe how the jobs run today
  • We tell you plainly whether we can help, and which of the other three options fits
  • There is no slide deck and no sales pitch. If it is not a fit, we will say so

Cost Free

Office Audit

One week. A build plan with prices, not a report.

What is included
  • A walkthrough of how you really run jobs, not how some software says you should
  • A ranked list of what costs you hours and money, with a fixed price on each fix
  • The features your software already has that you pay for and have not switched on

Cost $750 fixed

Credited in full to a build started within 60 days. Refunded if it finds nothing worth more than its fee. You can buy it on its own and keep it.

One system at a time

Build

One scoped system, installed in your tools, with the written procedure that runs it.

What is included
  • Scoped tightly in writing first. For example: invoice chasing, estimate to proposal, bid leveling, service intake, or job costing
  • Tested on your real jobs, then checked against the written scope before it goes live
  • Written instructions and a walkthrough, so your office can run it without calling us

Cost Fixed price, quoted from the audit

Half at kickoff. The other half when it passes the written acceptance test on your real jobs.

Care

Keeps what we built working as your software, any AI it uses, and your jobs change.

What is included
  • Monitoring, fixes, and updates when a connected tool or service changes
  • Small changes as the work changes; larger ones scoped as a new build
  • What we respond to, and how, agreed in writing, with a direct line to the person who built it

Cost Monthly, quoted with the build

Month to month. Cancel any time and keep everything.

Third-party subscriptions, such as the software a system runs in or any AI service it uses, are paid by you directly and named in the scope before you sign. Support after acceptance is part of Care, not part of a build.

From agreed scope to a system your office runs.

Six steps. You sign off at step three, before anything reaches a customer.

  1. Scope in writing

What it does and does not do, which tools it runs in, what it costs, and what counts as finished.

  2. Pilot on real jobs

The system runs beside your current way of working for a few real jobs. Nothing goes to a customer yet.

  3. Acceptance

You check it against the written scope. If anything falls short, tell us and we fix it. Once you sign off, it goes live.

  4. Documentation

A written procedure your office can follow, and a record of every setting and connection.

  5. Training

A walkthrough with the people who will run it, on your data, until they can do it without us.

  6. Support

After it goes live, Care keeps it running. We agree together on what it covers and put it in writing.

Before a system sends anything to a customer, a sub, or a supplier, a person on your side reviews it. The system drafts, and your person approves. That rule is written into every scope, and it does not change.

Who you would be working with.

A wright builds things that last. Millwright, shipwright, wheelwright. Runwright means systems that run right.

Runwright is run by a veteran mechanical engineer who spent more than twenty years on your side of this problem, in project management, construction and improvement projects, multi-site operations, and manufacturing. That meant budgets that had to hold, schedules that had to be met, and paperwork that had to be right before anyone got paid. We would have loved systems like these back then. Now we would use them every day.

That is why we build instead of advise. You already know what your problems are. You need somebody who can go build the thing that fixes them, in the tools you already pay for, and then show your office how to run it.

The full library.

Fourteen sample systems, built the way we build for clients. The company is made up. The tools work. Open any one and try it.

Sample 01 · Invoices and collections Open the sample

Each sample runs on its own with made-up data, and nothing you type leaves your screen. The estimate can pass its numbers to the proposal; the others stand alone. We will add real client results here once clients give us the okay. Each one will carry the client name. We will never make one up.

Questions people ask on the call.

Is my outfit too small for this?

If one person is doing office work at night that a system could do, no. Most of what we build fits a shop of two to twenty people. If we think it is not worth your money, we say so on the call.

Do I have to change the software I already use?

No. Where we can, we install the system in the tools you already pay for. If something genuinely needs a new tool, it is named in the scope with its cost before you sign.

I already have Buildertrend, Jobber or JobTread. Do I need this?

Good. We start with what you already pay for. We check which features your software has, switch on the useful ones, and connect it to the rest of your office. The AI inside your software only sees what is inside your software. Your inbox, the bid PDFs, and the spreadsheets sit outside it, and we connect those too.

Where does my data go?

It stays in your own accounts. If a system needs another service to work, like the software it runs in, or an AI service if it uses one, that service is named in the scope. The scope also spells out what kinds of data the system touches, which services see it, who controls access, and how the data is removed when the work ends. You own the accounts and hold the main logins. We work under a login you give us, and you can switch it off at any time. We never sell your data, and we keep none of it after the work ends.

How long does a build take?

The Office Audit takes one week. A single-system build is usually measured in weeks, not months, and the timing is written into the scope. Pilot and acceptance happen on your real jobs before anything goes live.

What do I get with a build?

The system itself, running in your own accounts, plus two documents. Before work starts, you sign a written scope: what gets built, the timing, the outside costs, the support, and the acceptance test it must pass on your real jobs. When it goes live, you get the SOP, short for standard operating procedure: the written steps your office follows to run the system, what to check, what to do when something looks wrong, and a record of every setting and login.

See a sample scope See a sample SOP

What does it cost?

The call is free. The Office Audit is $750, fixed. Builds are fixed prices quoted from the audit, never hourly. Care is a fixed monthly fee, quoted with the build. Three things move the price of a build up or down: how many of your tools it has to connect, how many people will use it, and whether it touches money going out or coming in. You pay for any outside subscriptions yourself, and we name them up front.

What happens after it is live?

Care covers monitoring, fixes, and small changes, with its scope and response agreed in writing. Anything larger is scoped as a new build. Once the final invoice for a build is paid, the system, its documentation, and its written procedure are assigned to you, with a perpetual license to any shared parts inside them. That is in the agreement, not just on this page.

What if you disappear?

It keeps running. Everything runs in your own accounts, not ours. You also have the written procedure for running it and a record of every setting and connection, so any competent tech or bookkeeper can take it over.

What the office work costs you.

Put in numbers from your own week. You see the hours the office work takes in a year, and how much finished work is waiting on an invoice. Work it outClose the calculator

On a typical job. If it goes out the same day, enter 0.

What you invoice in a typical month, in dollars.

Your number, not ours. Leave it blank to see hours only.

Worked out on your screen. Nothing you type here is sent or stored.

How these numbers are worked out

  • Counts only the hours you entered. No multipliers, no industry averages.
  • A year is 52 weeks of the hours you entered.
  • Dollars a year is hours a year times your own number, shown only if you enter one.
  • Cash waiting is monthly billings times days to invoice, divided by 30.
  • It leaves out jobs lost to slow quotes, slow payers, and the hours of anyone else in the office, so it is not the whole cost.
